Watch this space as our new kitchen is getting closer to completion. We can almost smell the roast potatoes & burgers!!
In the meantime here is a sneak peak of our new kitchen hatch........
Thank you for your on going kind messages of support. Below is a brief update on the current situation at the Schooner.
Due to the damage caused by the fire, sadly the building requires a full new roof. This work needs to be completed first before the kitchen can be re-instated. Due to the extent of this work unfortunately we believe that our kitchen will be out of action for a further few months.
We do apologise for the inconvenience caused by this. We are doing everything in our power to get our food back up for you guys as soon as we can as it seems that many of you are missing our roasts & burgers!
Our bar is open as usual so please don’t be a stranger and come see us for a drink.
Thank you for all the kind positive messages we have received at this difficult time.
We are currently waiting for the extent of the damage to be confirmed in order to determine a realistic date for when the kitchen can re-open; therefore regrettably our kitchen remains closed until further notice.
However our bar is back open so please do pop in for a local sussex ale, brewdog Punk IPA or a crisp glass of savignon
We met up with Jon Hutcheon from Lancing college Estate to learn more about the Sussex Free Range Lamb they supply the Schooner with for our roasts & specials.
